Which houses relate to loses (1 house before or 2 houses after)?

I'm beginner in learning vedic astrology and I'm confused. There

have been some posts on this group that say that the house before

relates to the loss of the next house. There have been other posts

that indicate the 2 houses after the house relates to the loss of the

house in question. Can anyone explain the difference?

12th house to any house is it's loss. The 12th house rules losses, so

this can be applied around the clock so to speak.

12th house means the one just before the house in question, like 8 is

loss for 9, 9 is loss for 10, 10 is loss for 11, and so on.

Example: Religion teaches humility, which is antithesis of rise or

prominence. So 9th is the "drain of" or antithesis of the 10th house.

11 is loss to 12. Twelve is losses itself, and 11 is gains; Gains put an

End to Losses.

It's pretty much that simple.

Actually 12th house in the horoscope represents "Vyaya" and meaning of Vyaya

is Expenditure and this is looosely translated as Loss. Working on same

analogy, 12th house from a particular house, represents its house of

expenditure.

hope it helps.
