A chara Lori,

This information is quite helpful...

I have a close friend, she's a sister to me, with a Leo Ascendent and

the above fits the description of her first, and perhaps only,

ex-spouse...

He indeed became like a servant to her due to an injury to her back in

the work environment (so obviously sixth house)...their marriage

suffered and dissolved as a result (6th house as 12th house from the

7th-although their are a few other reasons-his infidelity-accentuating

his status as one "lower" than hers, even by my deterrence of thinking

in hierarchical terms) and subsequently, he filed bankruptcy and since

their divorce was not final prior to this the bankruptcy appeared on her

credit record (8th house suffrage due to 7th house drain-she has ruler

of 6th and 7th in 8th)....

Her personality is that she tends to place people (those close and not

so close) in positions as her servants, often utilizing her injury as an

argument (or subtle reconciliation-cool 7th house reference) for this

(she has Sun in Leo in first with Venus and Mercury)....My only saving

grace of this is my Mars in Aries in the 7th house...I'm not passive

aggressive by any means=rather swift and blunt honesty if you

will...otoh...she's tremendously generous and often desires attention as

any cat (four or two legged) I've companioned has the leaning to do....

But we all have our traits don't we (diplomacy has been at least one

lesson I continue to LEARN)? I just love how jyotish is a tool for

embracing all aspects of our human conditional manifestations....

Pardon my exuberance...I've been studying jyotish for simply 3 years,

and I'm a bit surprised that I'm finally encompassing just the very

surface measure of this great quantum reality (or unreality as maya

would dictate)...to use a modern vernacular: THIS ROCKS!

Thanks for the reflection, I'm now examining the servitude/partnership

concept with all of the ascendents (heh, yes, particularly my own,

admittedly, partnerships have been a bit tumultuous for me)...I think

Das, or perhaps I read on some other list, has touched upon the service

of one an-other in partnerships...

Slante chugat,

Kat
