Guest guest Report post Posted June 22, 2000 Hi everyone I am really struggling with this. Bdate: Mar 20 1977 Rourkela India 12.30 pm Mithuna Lagna This 23 year old man has lagna lord combust in 10. Consequently his personality is affected. At times immature. He has low confidence and self esteem. Education is badly affected. From birth, every development has been delayed. Seems intelligent, just cannot stick to one subject for long. Buddha dasa currently. He is on the threshhold of manhood but perhaps not ready for it. 1. What are the reasons for this affliction 2. Does this improve in Ketu dasa or earlier 3. What is the impact of Guru in 12th (lord of 7th) 4. 11th house looks ok but impact of Ketu? Guest guest Report post Posted June 23, 2000 Many thanks If one's mind is afflicted then all things in life get afflicted and in this case there will be incomplete education. The next dasas are Ket and Ven, both in 11. What would the outlook for career (10th), and therefore income 11th) be in the next 2 dasas. Because 8th lord is in 2, is it safe to say there will be inheritance? Marriage will be delayed - 7th lord in 12 or is it foreign wife? All in all I find this chart to be severely afflicted and wonder if this native will ever come out of it and what he should be able to look forward to in life. Your comments will be most helpful. Guest guest Report post Posted June 24, 2000 Ketu periods are normally quite difficult although in this chart Ketu is well placed .Venus is also well placed and a good Lord for Gemini lagnas ..The main problem with the Venus Mahadasha is that Venus is in the 1st degree and so good results can only come slowly after effort . Since none of the dusthanas has a MT sign Geminis have fewer obstacles in life than other lagnas . So although factors favoring strength may be absent the native will get by . He has the desires to learn, work, earn etc. He also displays average or better talent from time to time, but no consistancy. It is as though there is no hope for him. Hence I was trying to see what profession he should take up, indicated by 10th (Jup) in 12th? With Deb Mercury with Sun in 10th. And 2nd lord moon also in 10th. Wealth and earning capacity is also not good. Marriage Lord Jup in 12th. Late, bad marriage to a foreigner? Mercury dasha is not good. Will ketu be better and Venus best in his whole life? Since you say he is childish why not put it to use with people who appreceate such quality .Also for astrological reasons the Lord of the 9th Saturn is strong in the 2nd the house of early childhood development . The 2nd Lord Moon which represents mothering has gone to the house of career the 10th house in the accept anyone sign of Pisces . The Moon is also closely conjunct benefic Mercury Lord of the ascendent .Also this is a career which does not lend itself to ambition and thus negates the problem of the 10th Lord being in 12th .Geminis are natural teachers . But 10th house is pretty messed up with Moon and Debilitated Mercury so close to each other. So it will not allow much progress. Is his best time when Venus (in 11) starts and will be Ketu period (in 11) be much better than Mercury? What is the impact of 7th lord in 12. 1. Loss of marriage / relationship 2. Marriage abroad 3.
