If Venus is in the 12th house, the person goes to heaven

after death. In his life, he will sleep in fine beds and

enjoy an abundance of sexual pleasure. He will be thrifty

and able to hold on to his wealth. He will not be subject

to a great many expenses. Although he will spend his money

wisely, he is given to spending his money on luxuries and

sensual pleasures. He will especially enjoy giving parties

and entertaining others. Ancient Hindu sages have declared

this as an excellent position for wealth. They also state

that the person will lie or promise more than he can

deliver. Although it may seem that all Venus significations

are devasted in the 12th house, marriage life is not so

blatantly harmed. Possibility of reproductive organ

illnesses. All in all, Venus is the only planet considered

by the sages as beneficial in the 12th house.

EXALTED AND OWN HOUSE: If Venus is in Pisces, Taurus or

Libra, person will DEFINITELY go to heaven and all good

things said above are heightened.

Dear Rhoda,

I've been studying Astrology since the beginning of 1998 - at the moment, I

am keeping a watchful eye of when Jupiter leaves Infacny on 24th/25th June,

followed by Saturn leaving Infancy on the 24th/25th July - they need some

strength now that they are under the Direct Transit influence of Transit

Ketu's 5th aspect, and being in Infancy isn't helping them :-) .

Very best - Sateesh.

In this vein, what is the difference between the reading: There is no evils

lessens the effects of misfortunes in life, whereas saturn's prevents them

from happening?

Anyone have a comment on this?

According to the Hindu school of thought, the soul never dies.

It reincarnates through numerous cycles of lives and deaths

until it reaches a stage where it is liberated - that is what is

called salvation.

"Purva-punya", a term that you might have come across in

your study of astrology is nothing but "purva" or "past" as in

past life and "punya" or "good deeds". It is believed that a

person evolves in his series of lives depending on his "punya"

of his lives. It's like a school - credit based but strict. If you

do well, you are promoted to the next class but if you sin you

are demoted back a grade... and finally you graduate.

Once a person reaches "moksha" or salvation, he is freed from

the cycle and is never born again. In other words, he gets a

one way ticket to heaven. Thing to understand is that the

"ticket" is always within him all the time all his lives but used

in his last, when it is "found". That's my simple understanding.

hello friends,

saw this posting on Venus in the 12th house and going to heavens and then

Jupiter and Saturn, and their arishta bhanga.

there is no misfortune in life. nothing is good or bad. it is how you view

them. when you are wrecked materially, you rise spiritually, if you are

destined to do so. It is the job of saturn, to disengage you from you

present activities and ready you for a plunge in deep pool of spiritual

enlightenment.

venus in the 12th house : heightens the heavenly activities, but on earth,

not in the skies, especially, if this Venus gets some afflictions too in the

chart. In the natural zodiac, venus gets exalted in the 12th, (Pisces being

the 12th house of natural zodiac) and hence it has been praised. Tellies

lies, (i may not fully agree to that) no, he is a manipulator par

excellence.

Distilled knowledge is Venus. Pure ethical knowledge is Jupiter and Saturn

is what breaks you from within and prepares you for receiving this

knowledge. Thats the psychology of these planets, get them first and then

start debating.

Manoj
