Hope anyone of you can answer these questions. 1) Is there any web-site which shows the longitude, latitude and time zone of all the countries of the world? 2) Is there any web-site which makes Free! online horoscopes? 3) How can we convert LMT of any city into IST? Thanks in advance With Best Wishes Bye! Vipin Doda indianastroman ICQ#: 65802234

Try www.astro.com. They have licensed a very accurate lon/lat/time zone server from ACS, and you can access it from a web front end. Since the time zone for all cities is now known, you can subtract the time zone, and add 5:30 hours to convert it to IST. Although this site does generate free horoscopes, they are not sidereal positions. You may want to download Jagannath Hora Lite by Narasimha Rao from http://www.sjvc.net, which is a very nice, free program. ajit -- Ajit Krishnan ajit@(julian|engga).uwo.ca http://publish.uwo.ca/~akrishna gpg key B44D03FD
Guest guest Report post Posted June 19, 2000 I have given info about some freebies. See below. Tarun >OM namo narayanaya > >Dear Vipin, > >> I've few doubts over mathematical-astrology. Hope anyone of you can answer these questions. >> >> 1) Is there any web-site which shows the longitude, latitude and time zone of all the countries of the world? THE BEST THERE IS: www.astrodienst.com. Also it's very good for generating charts in western as well as Hindu styles. I like their daily predictions too to some extent since they predict based on the individual chart and not based on "Varshaphal". However, they do not use the vedic method for predicting results. The western method is equally effective. >> 2) Is there any web-site which makes Free! online horoscopes? Yes. http://www.jyotishtools.com/windows.htm This is "Junior Jyotish" that you can download and run in your PC. Free ! It's pretty good but you have to get the longitude/latitude info from http://www.astrodienst.com first. http://netropolis.org/peej/horo.cgi: produces a chart online. All FREE. I like the Junior Jyotish better since the chart and dashas it generates matches the Goravani Jyotish software accurately. >> 3) How can we convert LMT of any city into IST? > >Try www.astro.com.
