Dear Manoj:

If Jupiter is in Sagittarius in 5th house, what would you say about the

person's education? Thanks.

Das proffers...

>>So I see the fourth as emanination of our root from which our body has

come. To use a term I heard from Jeffrey Armstrong, it's the "momentum

of our ancestoral genes".<<

I would say that this is true also in my case as I am quite heavy into

the geaneaology (sp?) of my family (yeah lots of 4th house emphasis)...

I have ruler of 1st, 9th, 3rd, 6th, and 12th in my 4th....ruler of 4th

and 5th in 9th...I am akin to my mother's side of the family..separated

from my father's family and religion (Saturn and ketu in 9th) which are

Italian Catholics by embracing Hindu philosophy (Gemini rules 9th) which

my Mother affirms is aligned with her family's beliefs within

Christianity.....my geneaology on Mother's side (jai Ma all around!)

surrounds agriculture and religion (farmers and ministers from Scotland

and England surviving a courageous-third house-journey across seas to

the Americas during 1600's)...Mother studied to be a lawyer (ruler of

4th in 9th) but was unable to finish as She came to caring primarily for

her 4 children (but still working-6th house ruler)...I have "inherited"

this love (Venusian) of ethics/philosophy and came around to Political

Science/Philosophy Major in college with Peace and Conflict Studies

Minor (Thula Lagna)...in my view (pardon the sidetrack but explains

an-other 4th house placement in connection with 1st ruler) moksha is

acheived through the body as opposed to detaching from it--at least in

my individual case...purity of foods from under ground (4th house)--no

eating moo-moos, chickies or anything with a face that can run/swim away

(or had the ability to at one time)...and the path of jnana bhakti (9th

house again)...

I'm not sure about 2nd house as early education, the connection for me

is unclear...I had difficulty because of boredom and being an outcast of

sorts...Mars rules my second and my 7th...and sits in his own sign in

7th...

Many "lessons" with home and mother...disrupted education(on all

levels)...self taught (5th house of innate knowledge--innate because 4th

is 12th to the 5th) until college pretty much...but I'm pushing

through...

Hope I didn't get too off track...

Slante chugat,

Dear Mr. Shamim,

So nice to hear from you. Can you post the chart and then lets see. My idea

of saying 5th house for education is very simple. Parashara says so. Second

house, primary education, fourth house, upto graduate education, 5th house

post graduate education and all are the deviations we have created, not

parashara. But in saying so, I do not discourage anyone from trying out his

own techniques. Lagna is where you take birth and second house is your

kutumbha, when you immediately after birth move into the lap of your mother

and start learning things, so in a way, thats also a house of learning, but

not of education. Third house is where is you get your co-borns and start

breaking things in the house as a naughty boy (courage, valour and

siblings). There is nothing wrong in trying out new things, but within the

parameters laid down by Parashara.

Tarun did confirm that JFK owned properties.

regards,

Manoj
