Guest guest Report post Posted May 31, 2000 Hi Everyone: If someone has a different software for vedic astrology could you run two charts and tell me what you get as their ascendants, please. 1. March 3, 1971 at 12:41 am London, England Female 2. December 14, 1972 at 2:37 pm Long Island, NY Male Both of these charts show a different ascendant than the charts done by Indian astrologers. So, I'm trying to determine what is wrong. Thanks. Manju
Guest guest Report post Posted May 31, 2000 The most accurate calculations are done at www.astrodienst.com. Feed in the particulars and select the chart type as "Hindu Geocentric". The chart is really beautiful although not in the Hindu style. I have found that to be extremely accurate. You can map the planet positions to a Hindu chart template. Guest guest Report post Posted June 1, 2000 Tarun has given an excellent url particularly for learners like me who like to use outer planets along with sidereal astrology. However, they have only one option of Fagan/Bradley ayanamsha which is inconvenient to me as I use Lahiri.
