Taurus Lagna on or about May 4th

Dear friends,

 

I was wondering how the planetary line up may play out for a Taurus Lagna. The

12th being the house of loss, I would speculate that they should stay away from

Market Specualtion etc.

What of the person born with this ascendant on May 4th? Would he or she ever be

able to acumulate anything other than Moksha? *smile*

I just thought I'd voice my ponderings....

Hi Don,

I have different perceptions on this. Though a majority of the planets may be in

the twelfth house on May 4th for a Taurus born native, the person need not loose

money in speculation. Or for that matter do I see moksha for a person born on

that day. I would like to elaborate by way of an example.

 

On may 4th Saturn will be in Aries - home of Mars - and will be in the

constellation of the Sun whose sub lord is Rahu (dragon's head). For a Taurus

born, the Sun - the constellation lord - is the lord of 4th house. Additionally

suppose that at the time of birth the Sun was in the 9th house and Rahu in the

6th. Thus we have a transiting Saturn for a Taurus born whose constellation lord

is in the 9th and sub lord is very favourably placed in the 6th. Saturn in this

case will only help the native make money and I strongly would recommend anyone

with a similar combination to just go ahead and speculate. This luck will be

more pronounced if the Moon happens to be in Aries in the chart. I say this

because Saturn in that case would be the lord of 10 and 11 from the janma rashi

and will always help the native!!

 

Like wise an instance may be cited for misfortune by supposing the Sun in the

above example to be posited in the 6th in debilitation and rahu to be in the 5th

in Simha(Leo). The same Saturn is now transiting in the constellation of the Sun

who is in debilitation and sub-lord Rahu in Leo. Nothing could probably go right

for this combination.

 

The same concept may be extrapolated for all the other planets transiting on

May 4 or for that matter on any day of the year.

 

To summarise it would be wrong to generalise on the conjunction of several

planets in one zodiac. As always the answer to your question is "it depends".

On the position of planets in an individuals chart at the time of birth.

 

I welcome more readings on this May 4 planetary conjunction.

Thank you for your reply to my question Subramamyam, I agree that is never

good to generalise in Jyotish there are always to many varibles to consider.

My knowledge of Jyotish is very limited at this point, and I am sure that is

reflected by the nature of the question I posed. I find it the most

interesting subject I have ever studied and look forward to learning all I

can.
