Guest guest
I sent this reply to someone else yesterday and for some reason, my posting never came to the group. Please take the advise of Shri DharmaDevji. In addition, to benefit all the diabetic members in this forum, I would like to share an information. My friend's mom, who is diabetic, takes a powder every morning in water. This miracle powder helps her to keep her sugar level at a great level. This powder is made of "pagar kai" (Tamil term) and couple of other vegetables. The botanical name is "Memordica charntia". This is the most bitter thing one could eat and that is why it works, I guess!! They basically dry this vegetable and powder it and sold in a bottle. I don't know if this is available in US. Here is another useful link for Indian vegetables and their medicinal values - <http://www.chennaionline.com/food/healthandnutrition/ayur1.asp> http://www.chennaionline.com/food/healthandnutrition/ayur1.asp For Blood Pressure - Celery is a great medicine. Take celery in any form and it should help. Also immerse tulasi leaf in a glass of water and drink the water the next day - same as Rudraksha bead treatment and this GREATLY helps in keeping the BP under control. My dad has been doing this for several years and he is 73 and his BP readings are better than mine! The tulasi powder is also available in Indian ayurvedic stores. Hope this helps....
