Dhanyavadh DharmaDevJi,

I am 27 and I have Type 1 (Insulin Dependent) Diabetes. I live in USA and the

doctor here knows nothing about the rudrakshas. He is a very good doctor, but

being an american, he knows about the rudraksha therapy.

My job demands extra hours at work and whenever I am under stress, my blood

sugar levels are shooting up.

Can you direct me to more literature on the rudraksha therapy for diabetes.

Is there any god ayurvedic doctor in India that I can Consult? I am ready to

make a trip to India just for this.

Thanks,

Sunil

Namaskar Mitra and thank you for your message.........is said in one book by

Subas Rai that 5 Mukhi that pacifies planet Jupiter will help to work on

Diabetes however we do not have the internal formulas that might be used as the

Rudraksa are probably ground up and used with an Ayurvedic Formula..........the

other problem is there are different types of Diabetes to contend with and with

peopole at different ages react differently to different

medications..........best suggestion is to follow the instructions of your

Family Medical Doctor

who is trained in Diabetes Control and if you wish to wear the 5 Mukhi that is

OK to..........then after this there may be an Ayurvedic Doctor out there that

has an Ayurvedic Rudraksha Formula for Diabetes however again a thorough

identification of the type of nature of the Diabetes needs to be identified and

medical doctors are really best for this over experimenting with internal

Rudraksha Remedies because medical doctors already have proven methods they use

each

day

hope this helps

I sent this reply to someone else yesterday and for some reason, my

posting never came to the group.

Please take the advise of Shri DharmaDevji.

In addition, to benefit all the diabetic members in this forum, I would

like to share an information. My friend's mom, who is diabetic, takes a

powder every morning in water. This miracle powder helps her to keep her

sugar level at a great level. This powder is made of "pagar kai" (Tamil

term) and couple of other vegetables. The botanical name is "Memordica

charntia". This is the most bitter thing one could eat and that is why

it works, I guess!! They basically dry this vegetable and powder it and

sold in a bottle. I don't know if this is available in US.

Here is another useful link for Indian vegetables and their medicinal

values -

<http://www.chennaionline.com/food/healthandnutrition/ayur1.asp>

http://www.chennaionline.com/food/healthandnutrition/ayur1.asp

For Blood Pressure - Celery is a great medicine. Take celery in any form

and it should help. Also immerse tulasi leaf in a glass of water and

drink the water the next day - same as Rudraksha bead treatment and this

GREATLY helps in keeping the BP under control. My dad has been doing

this for several years and he is 73 and his BP readings are better than

mine! The tulasi powder is also available in Indian ayurvedic stores.

Hope this helps....

Thankyou maheshji and devji,

Maheshji.... Memordica charntia's english name is "bitter gourd". I think I can

find it in US. Can you please let me know what are the couple of other

vegetables that I would have to mix with it (I mean.. dry them and powder them).

I would like to talk to my doctor aboot this and see how it works out for me.

Thanks,

Sunil
