Guest guest
Dear Maheshji Namaskar Mitra and thank you for your message........sounds like your spouse needs to arrange some type of time off from the children dureing the week by finding other women with the same problem so they can combine thier skills and get some rest by giveing one another a day off by baby sitting the others kids for one day a week We have to remember most Holy Books were written by men and I have it on extrememely good authority from a Great Brahmin Woman and Mother that wearing at all times of the month is acceptable for the ladies............personal sanitation methods have changed since the Holy Books were written so many years ago so this is one major change that allows ladies to wear all the days of a 40 day discipline..........otherwise ladies would be excluded from finishing a 40 day sadhana because it would be interrupted each month Other thing is that without the ladies purification process there would be no men to write books that exclude ladies from some of these processes so is a real mystery to me why men who write books would do this Best Rudraksa for Lady of the House to calm things down is Gauri Shankar and its companion bead the 2 Mukhi Ardhaneeshwara Rudraksa........values and merits of these Holy Beads are found on the Rudra Center website www.rudraksha-ratna.com The Gauri Shankar can be worn as one bead with two pairs of two Mukhi strung mouth part to mouth part on each side of center bead...........if you string the remaining Mala in pearl or sphatik crystal you will have an extrememly powerful mala that will increase peace and unity in family on all levels Also please take advantage of our free Rudrkaksa and Ratna Recommendation offer on the home page of our website to see if our astrologers might find something else that needs to be added Yes the Holy Books say men can wear at all times Hope this helps Wishing you and Family the Best of Health Happiness Success and Prosperity Thanks and Take Care Rudra Center DharmaDev In a message dated 8/23/2004 8:59:25 AM Pacific Standard Time, kmahesh0 writes: > > > Hi, > > I have a basic question about the complications of women wearing > Rudrakshas. > > We have a 7 year old and 2 year old boys at home. Guest guest
Dear Dharamdevji, Thanks for your kind response. Are you sure that women can wear rudrakshas at all times? I come from an orthodox Indian brahmin family. In our custom, women are prohibited to do any kind of religious things - let alone rudrakshas - even chanting slogas during those days. Although things are not followed as per books nowadays, my wife still exclude herself from any religious related activities. Rudrakshas are supposed to be maintained its sanctity. I am surprised at your answers - not that I am challenging. I just want to make sure that I dont do something that could bring any negative impact on us. Regarding the bead, are you suggesting GouriShankar AND two pairs of 2-mukhi beads? One more question - I recently converted my rudraksha mala from red thread to gold. Is this okay? I have 1-mukhi and 5-mukhi. , AumShiningLotus@a... wrote: > Dear Maheshji > > Namaskar Mitra and thank you for your message........sounds like your spouse > needs to arrange some type of time off from the children dureing the week by > finding other women with the same problem so they can combine thier skills and > get some rest by giveing one another a day off by baby sitting the others kids > for one day a week > > We have to remember most Holy Books were written by men and I have it on > extrememely good authority from a Great Brahmin Woman and Mother that wearing at > all times of the month is acceptable for the ladies............personal > sanitation methods have changed since the Holy Books were written so many years ago > so this is one major change that allows ladies to wear all the days of a 40 day > discipline..........otherwise ladies would be excluded from finishing a 40 > day sadhana because it would be interrupted each month > > Other thing is that without the ladies purification process there would be no > men to write books that exclude ladies from some of these processes so is a > real mystery to me why men who write books would do this > > Best Rudraksa for Lady of the House to calm things down is Gauri Shankar and > its companion bead the 2 Mukhi Ardhaneeshwara Rudraksa........values and > merits of these Holy Beads are found on the Rudra Center website > www.rudraksha-ratna.com > > The Gauri Shankar can be worn as one bead with two pairs of two Mukhi strung > mouth part to mouth part on each side of center bead...........if you string > the remaining Mala in pearl or sphatik crystal you will have an extrememly > powerful mala that will increase peace and unity in family on all levels > > Also please take advantage of our free Rudrkaksa and Ratna Recommendation > offer on the home page of our website to see if our astrologers might find > something else that needs to be added > > Yes the Holy Books say men can wear at all times > > Hope this helps > > Wishing you and Family the Best of Health Happiness Success and Prosperity > > Thanks and Take Care > > Rudra Center > > DharmaDev > > In a message dated 8/23/2004 8:59:25 AM Pacific Standard Time, > kmahesh0 writes: > > > > > > > Hi, > > > > I have a basic question about the complications of women wearing > > Rudrakshas. > > > > We have a 7 year old and 2 year old boys at home. Guest guest
G'day Sis Kariji, For now, a Quick drop by: Great one Sis, agree with you absolutely; Also would like to add that certain tantric lineages consider a woman's shakti is at the peak during the monthly cycle. Maa Herself wears the garland of skulls everyday for all eternity. When Her mortal kids are undergoing starvation, She wouldn't say, "Hey, you cannot touch this, cannot go into the kitchen to cook, cannot do this, cannot do that, etc. Period or no period, Maa springs into action. Jai Maa!!!!!!! And again according to certain tantric lineages, the "7 days" roughly translates as the Vedas' way of giving women a rest from household or religious duties; i..e for rest and recuperation from daily household duties. Of course, it is up to each individual to decide for herself/himself depending on each person's background. (To other valuable and respected friends, please bear with me. Will respond to your messages here, soon as I can....) Ommmmm Simone , "karisprowl" <karisprowl@e...> wrote: > You must, of course, follow your own beliefs. > > However.. yes..
