Guest guest
Namaste DDji and Friends, Just visited Rudra Centre website www.rudraksha-ratna.com and clicked on the link for "Gift Section". What a lovely round box with clear lid! And the Gauri Shankar in the box looks very good too. Thank you for telling me about this DDji. For friends who are interested, the text on the mentioned page reads: "Two naturally joined Rudrakshas, called Gauri Shankar is regarded as the Unified form of Shiva & Parvati. It symbolises the love between Lord Shiva and his wife. The home in which this rudraksha is kept is abundant with peace, love and harmony. Gift your loved ones this beautiful rudraksha. Ancient texts mention that the person giving gift accrues punya (good karma) by gifting rudraksha. Rudraksha given as gift should be accepted with faith and gratitude. Contents: --------- Blessed Gauri Shankar rudraksha pendalled in punchdhatu in an attractive case, booklet Power of Rudraksha and Japa mala and notecard." ***** The notecard is great for those of us who have no time to go hunting for cards.. ****** Another thing of interest about Gauri Shankar is that ascetics such as Sadhus, Nagababas and Aghoris are known to wear Gauri Shankar kantha malas that protect and bless them in the jungles, high altitudes, mountains and remote locations. This bead is also believed to represent the balancing energies of Yin and Yang, Light and Darkness, and of course Shiva Shakti. It very much reminds that there is no Shiva without Shakti and vice versa. And that all is one and the same. Anyone has more information about Gauri Shankar to share? Would love to hear all, thanking you..... Om Namah Shivaya Simone
