Guest guest
What an interesting question!!! I don't know if there are any but the Atharva Veda might have something interesting. The library is closed today but i'll check it out this week. The problem is even if there was a vedic mantra, learning the correct swaram (intonation) is quite difficult, though not impossible if you learn from a vedic pandit. There are any number of Rasayana and Kaya Kalpa Chikitsas in Ayurveda and Siddha and what you are asking in fact is a specialty of Ayurveda. In November/December of 2002 there was a man from South America who underwent Rasayana Chikitsa in the Kutipravesika method and it was covered with great interest in the media( there have only been a handful of treatments in the past hundred years) and he claimed that he had regained fifteen to twenty years as a result of it, i.e., there were visible signs externally like regeneration of lost hair, teeth, disappearance of wrinkles etc. However this treatment (or indeed any Rasayana chikitsa) involves severe dietary restrictions, isolation, sexual continence to be effective. Guest guest
Dear friend, 'Shree Mahamrutyunjaya Mantra' keeps the person very healthy and energetic. It is my personal experience. There are different types of this mantra, like, 'Ek Pranav', 'Pancha Pranav', 'Shatt(six) Pranav' etc. One has to select which mantra is suitable for him/her. Thanking you and with best wishes. Guest guest
Namaste Mula Bandha brings eternal youth and a stopping of the aging process - it is achieved by contraction of the anal sphincter and pulling it up - it is traditionly used along with uddiyana bandha (stomach contraction) - Goswami Kriyanandaji uses this method and he has aged very little in the past 40 years that I have known him. You should get a long-life initiation. These are fairly common in any of the Tibetan Buddhist lines. This, along with Ayurvedic panchakarma (five-fold purification) and the use of rasayanas (rejuvenatory herbs) can reverse the aging process. There are even a handful of kaya-kalpa practitioners left (the British eradicated much of this practice). This practice can give you a new body--if you are willing to go through a process of death and rebirth to get it--and be in total darkness for 30-40 days... One of my grand-teachers (my teachers, teacher) lived to 118 through alchemical long-life practice. Her biography states that her hair went down below her waist but only the tips were gray. Her hands and appearance were not that of an old person. When she passed on she attained the rainbow body: her body dissolved into rainbow light. Guest guest
Hi - Thought I'd put my two cents in on the aging question... as a lifestyle consideration, balance is the key to longevity, and meditation is a primary technique of balance.... so, meditate daily and deeply. Secondly, maintaining balance in the body's glucose to insulin ratio is a physical key to longevity and thus, eat a diet rich in protein and healthy fats and low in carbohydrates. Thirdly, get plenty of aerobic, physical exercise on a daily basis to maintain a flexible, youthful body. And fourthly, take the Ayurvedic mineral supplement known as "Shilajit".... it is a kind of thick, dark pitch-like substance found in the Himalayas in certain rock formations, that is extremely rich in many vital minerals and trace elements. It is generally available in capsule or pill form from Ayurvedic suppliers and is considered a powerful anti-aging substance. Guest guest
Hi All, Does anyone know a mantra that will make you young or young-looking? Thanks. try the mahamrytanjaya mantra, duttatreya vajra kavacha, mritsanjivani kavacha, mritsanjivani mantra, surya namaskaar, hatha yoga+celibacy (Celibacy and eternal youth are synonyms) as semen is life and marriage death.the survey that married live longer is on the fact that cupid being hard to conquer, the unmarried use unnatural means, thus shortening their life further. try gayatri with pranayama. in any case celibacy is a must.
