shatavari sources

apart from the few Ayurvedic bulk herb suppliers that have already been

mentioned (e.g. Banyan, Bazaar of India etc.) you can also find

Shatavari in Chinese herb shops

its called tien men dong (Asparagus cochinchinensis)

you can boil this up and drink as a tea, or reduce it to a powder with

a coffee grinder, and take with honey and ghee

(i find the species name rather interesting - suggests it originally

came from Kerala...)
