Refugees from Darfur: It Gets Worse

The article below from the Boston Globe

details an unthinkable scenario.

 

You are homeless in Africa forced to flee

to the neighboring country.  The Darfur Refugees

fled to Chad.

 

Can things get worse?  Now Chad may fall

into the hands of sympathizers of

the Sudanian government.

 

Incidentally a Kuala Lampur, Malaysia piece

on Amma (who is currently in Malaysia I think)

quotes Amma in Malaysia saying:

 

"Asked what she wanted to accomplish in life, Amma

said if she could dedicate a "peace day" in a year

where people need not be in hospitals because of war

and conflicts and that children could wake up to the

sound of chirping birds instead of gunshots, that

would make her very happy."
