SAI THE PROTECTOR OF THE MEEK

1. “THY" Frown on us, a fruit of Our Follies.,

“THY" Anger, a "sign" of THY Concern for 'us’.,

“THY" Silence a "caution" for our Determination.,

"THY" Impatience, a "spur" for our Efforts.,

“THY" speechless "Gestures", Signs of “HOPE and FAITH".,

Though "DEATH" the Inescapable End to all the "Born".,

Yet THOU hath rescued “TATYA KOTE PATIL".,

Ah! what Mysterious MIRACLES, these!

O! SAI the PROTECTOR of the MEEK, of the SAI of SHIRIDI.,

2. In Difference to the WISHES of ‘THY' Devotees,

THOU hath eaten 'Sparsely', Leaving 'MOST for THY Disciptes to eat….,

"RADHAKRISHNA MAI" ever expectant of such "PRASAD",

'Sleeping on the Lap “THOU" hath rescued "BAYAJEE".,

At the 'ULTIMATE' Stage, "THOU" hath given away all ‘THY’ 'meagre’

possessions

THOU hath kept THY "promise" unto - the-last.,

what shall I say? How shall I say? that THOU art beyond 'words and speech'!

Yet fulfilled Always the needs of all THY DEVOTEES;

"VANQUISHER" of all Human Emotions and passions,

"DESTROYER" of the "six" HUMAN vices.,

Mine eyes can never cope to see the spectacle of THY "COSMIC" form,

Nor mine ears can hear the ULTRA - HARMONIOUS MELODY of THY million NAMES.

O! SAI the PROTECTOR of the MEEK, O! The SAI of SHIRIDI.,

3. To extol "THY" fame, Dumb - found and speechless, I am.,

To surrender 'my’ "MIND and Intellect", enfeebled I am.,

To place 'my’ Body at THY lotus - feet, enweakened I am.,

With 'Hope and Faith’, underwent endless sufferings, I have.,

That THOU ART shall be mine "Companion, Friend and Saviour".,

Certain to rescue, to redeem and to liberate me

>From worldly Bondage in this Birth, and from the cycle of 'Births and Deaths

’, Letting the "SOUL - SWAN" of mine, enmingle in THEE now and for ever.,

O! DESTROYER of all DESIRES, O! SAI the PROTECTOR of the meek., O! The SAI

of SHIRIDI.
