Guest guest
Sai's Grace, Jubilees of Silver and Gold Oh, who is this Sai ? What is His Sudha ? Where is His gold ? Who are His devotees ? What pulls all His devotees together ? 1. The Lord Krishna in His Song celestial, sweet, sung before His mighty warrior Arjuna, His disciple urging him to do his duty forthwith, without delay any, And not caring for either its outcome or fruits thereof Hath declared for us great truths lasting for ever. Till this Earth, Sun, Moon and Stars lovely last, That pleased He was to descend here in our Land Divine To uphold Dharma by sinking down its foes And thus secure stability, stature and strength For all the life spread and its court holding everywhere ! Hath he not fulfilled His that promise grand then made By and through our Sai in our midst-ah, how blessed we are! To have His this Avatar, so recent, revered and so green ! 2. Sudha, the nectar, ever flows towards us all >From the North, South, East and West and from everywhere >From Sai, our Father, Mother, Teacher, Brother, Friend, Guide, Wealth, Food, Drink, Birth, Life and Death too ! They who doubt this Truth, solemn, wide and deep and bulky Let he or she go over to His presence, here, in this land where stately sits He-as no king or Emperor can dare to do so And blesses us all by both His smile serene and eyes Kind I only they whose sins to be washed for ever would go over here to get drenched in His grace And have their very bones to be holy, sweet and pure ! A devotee, is devoted, dear and darling as well, To our Sai, the greatest and the most merciful He truly tastes the Sudha, the nectar divine Not through the tongue but through the self, And without slip any between the Lip small and cup ever full 3. He shining in colour of swarna and of silvery charm Hath been doubtless the most precious wealth Hath lent His complexion and charm to that knightly number fifty, And so arrive we at Sai Sudha's Jubilee of Gold, Now ! 4. Ah, Sai lives and lives in His facets all, rare Like a diamond dazzling of size huge and cut too well— All these years fifty, in Articles, poems and essays all Gushing forth from the Hearts humble of His devotees, >From every nook and corner of this our earth wide itself '. What a treat divine, holy and lofty from "Sai Sudha" we have ! 5. Let our Baba, the mighty writer among writers, poet among poets ; And artist among the artists, guide us all, humble folk— To write and write more of His grace utmost And so spread His blessings among us all, everywhere ! Let us all be so many stars twinkling here and there Around our Sai, the Moon Showering His Silvery light on us for ever.
