We can distinguish four types of people. The highest type are those who are so

good themselves that they are utterly disinclined to note the faults of others.

They therefore see everybody as righteous and virtuous. Then there are the

middle type who see the good as good, and the bad as bad. Then there is a

lower type who accept only the bad and ignore the good, and finally, the lowest

of all who perceive the bad as good and enforce its acceptance. You have to

avoid the last two types, and strive to rise to the second and the first.
