Sai Ram to all,

We are a group of 6 people from Malaysia who will be arriving at

Bangalore Airport at 1.00pm on 11th November, 2004.

Can anyone out there please let us know whether we can hire a coach

at or near the airport, and what will the approximate fare be like.

Thank you and Sai Ram.

Bobby.

Re: [saibabanews] Going To Puttaparthi

Sai Ram Bobby,

You get couches from Airport. If you hire a A/C Jeep (Toyota Qualis) , all six

of you can travel in one couch the max amount you should pay is Rs.2000/- . even

if you ask for just a drop they will normally charge for round trip . And the

distance from Bangalore to Puttaparthi is approx 150 kms (150 *2 * 6 Rs = 1800 +

200 driver tips).

If you want to stay for a day in Bangalore before you proceed to Parth, you can

hire a hotel at Anand Rao Circle and you can plan to go in a train.

Train usually starts at 6:00 AM from Bangalore. (Prashanthi Express)

Best regards,

Kesari

Re: [saibabanews] Going To Puttaparthi

sai madhusudhannayanamah, krishnaayanamah,

may the almighty bless all of you. to your query regarding fares, a

simple non-luxury bus plies between the ashram and sathya sai

airport, puttaparthi which takes a concessional charge of approx

malaysian dollar 1.75= rs.25/- FOR 6KM.JOURNEY. from there when u

reach the accomodation inside u can get down in front of the

accomodation office and enquire. if accomodation is not available

there, u can just move out thru the gopuram vehicle gate and just on

the right side is highclass sai towers hotel and just in front is

the small but clean vinayaka hotel where veg.meals-homemade and

chappathis.etc. upon order are served. if you can help and afford do

take food in the canteens three or or four times but do not make it

a habit thinking it is cheaper ALTERNATIVE as it is just meant to be

swamy's prasad or blessed food. we must give everyone an equal

opportunity to partake in getting that happiness. just a thought and

suggestion. if i am wrong i am sorry.

if you are taking a taxi from bangalore airport to puttaparthi drop,

the approx fare will be around rs.1500/- but do take care to choose

a nice vehicle with a careful driver. swamy always says help ever

and hurt never, start early drive slowly and reach safely. it is

approx. 4 hrs. drive from bnglr.

Another suggestion for you is to try the cheaper hotel on the first

left road next to gopuram gate called sai kumar lodge which is owned

by one mukhundha. if there are rooms available , which i think is

around rs400/- to rs 700/- per day (approx. M$30/-) or he may be

able to help you in some other way. you can mention my names

madhusudhanna from cochin, kerala. i am sure he will help.

jangan susaah hati, selamat datang di-negara-bharatham - namaskaram,

dhanyawaad dan banyak terima kaseh - AUM SAI MADHUSUDHANNAYANAMAH
