Namah Shivaya

You can get the text for the guru stotram from the below link

http://www.chinmayauk.org/Resources/Invocations/Shree%20Guru%20Stotram.pdf

The last line is slightly modified when Ammas devotee sings the Guru

Stotram to include Amriteswariyai Ma instead of Mama devadeva

Also there is a slightly slower version of the gurustotram you can

listen on Amma's website

http://bhajans.amritapuri.org/index.htm

If you are unable to listen to it from the above link let me know and

I will figure out a way so that you will be able to listen to it

online.

I also think you will like the song Anandaveethi composed by Amma and

sung by Amma (it is the last one in the link)

The meaning of the song is at

http://www.amritapuri.org/amma/life/veethi.php

Na Karmana -

Na Karmana Na Prajaya Dhanena Tyage Naike Amrutatva Manashuhu (Not by

action, not by progeny, not by wealth; but by sacrifice alone can man

attain immortality).

The full text for this has been uploaded on this website and you can

get it from

AmmachiChanting%20Devi/

The name of the file is sannyaasasukta.txt

Aum Amriteswariyai Namah

I have a vague idea that the "words" to Na Karmanaa may be at the

end of one of the Bhajanamrita books among the chants. I know I

have seen it in an Amma book in any case and that is my best guess.

Anyway here goes:

***********************

na karmaNaa na prajayaa dhanena tyaage-naike amritatvam-aanashuh .

parena naakam nihitam guhaayaam vibhraajate yad-yatayo vishanti ..

vedaanta-vijnaana-sunish-chitaarthaah sannyaasa-yogaad-yatayah

shuddha-sattvaaH .

te brahma-lokeshhu paraanta-kaale paraamritaaH parimuchyanti sarve

Duhram vipapam parameshwa-bhuutam yat-pundariikam puram-adya-

sagrastham.

Tad-raapi dahram gaghanam-vishokas-tasmin-yadantas-tad-upaasitavyam.

Yo-vedaadau swarah prokto vedaante cha pratishtitah

Tasya prakriti-liinasya yah para-sa-maheshvarah.

Na tatra suuryo bhaanti na chandra taarakam nemaa vidyuto bhaanti

kuto'yam agnhih.

Tameva bhaantum anubhaati sarvan tasya bhaasa sarvam idam vibhaati.

***********

Some of that is from my ever fading memory. This chant is used to

welcome a swami to the household. It is often also chanted at

midnight on Mahashivaratri to welcome new renunciates to our world.

It is traditional to take vows of sannyas on Mahashivaratri.

It starts off with a praise of renunciation "Neither rituals,

notprogeny, nor gifts but only renunciation yields immortality....."
