In Swami Paramatmananda's book On the Road to Freedom, Vol 2, the

author talks about a child, named Shakti Prasad, born in 1978 to

devotees of Amma. Amma has said that she manifested Shakti Prasad and

that he is a partial incarnation of the Divine Mother and would be a

great force for good in the world. Does anyone know where this man is

now and if he has fulfilled Amma's prophecy of his developing into a

great soul? Any background and interesting anecdotes would be greatly

appreciated!

Peace,

Dave

To the best of my recollection, Shakti Prasad's story

is in the book "Come Quickly my Darling CHildren,

stories of western devotees."

In "Ammachi: A Biography of Mata Anritanandanayi" (the

paperback with dark green cover, which I believe is

still available), beginning on page 237 Swami

Amritswarupananda describes _four_ Shakti Prasad

children born in the 1970s! But there is no mention

of what has become of them - now young men, perhaps

married with kids of their own. Or maybe they became

renunicates. Or joined the Indian army. Your guess

is as good as mine :)

(I keep my Amma books near my computer for quick reference!!)
