My daughter, Sudha, has kindly given me permission to share a poem she wrote

a couple of years ago. Ôm Amriteswaryai Namah

GURU POORNIMA

When the moon was so bright that night, and the sky was so light that night,

and the earth was in harmony, She came and She danced with me.

And I smelled Her sweet perfume

as She reached out Her arms to me.

I felt Her Love inside of me

and I felt like I was free.

I heard Her soft warm loving voice

as She sang a blissful song to me.

I looked into Her dark, pure eyes

and I saw Infinity.

Then She transformed in front of me

and I saw Her as Devi;

Her crown all gold and shimmery,

Mata Amritananda Mayi

When the moon was so bright that night, and the sky was so light that night,

And the sky was so light that night, and the Earth was in harmony, She came

and appeared to me.
