Purple Colour during meditation

Whenever i meditate for a considerable amount of time, i see purple

colour, a pulsating, fluid deep purple...Is this normal?

Also these days, whenever i read something which spiritually appeals

to me or i think of things of spiritual nature or self-exploratory,

i experience a tingling, almost slight throbbing sensation between

my eyebrows as well as the part of the forehead directly above the

eyebrows...even right now. Any explanations?

Me too when I meditate on the rising Sun I see purple lights, this is the colour

of healing process started in you,

as for the other sensations it's prana energy moving that's very good anyway.

If the the purple/violet light is experienced at the third eyepoint

during mantra meditation it is a sign that devotion is being

stimulated or created - an important prerequisite on the spiritual

path. That is distinct from the effect on the optic nerve of a

light -such as the sun - from outside. It is important to

distinguish between the two.
