Guest guest Posted May 28, 2003 Report Posted May 28, 2003 Sat Nam, I have a questions from a student in my present class. He has scoliosis and has a hard sitting in easy pose and rock pose. He modifies relative to his ability. He sometimes has to lie down on his back. I have told him to visualize correct posture. He is a motivated student who has organized our present class and I teach in his house with 5 other students. This may be a question for YB. Does anyone have similar experiences or answer? Thank You Mehtab Singh Quote
Guest guest Posted May 29, 2003 Report Posted May 29, 2003 I'm not a teacher , but I have scoliosis too, and I find if I do a thorough warm up, I don't have any discomfort. If, in class, my teacher skips the warm up, my back will start to ache. When I first joined this list I asked about it, and someone (Pieter?) suggested several exercises. Check the archives for scoliosis, I believe it was this past Sept., or Oct. Sat Nam, I have a questions from a student in my present class.
