Guest guest Posted October 30, 2002 Report Posted October 30, 2002 Sat Nam ya'll, Well today the weather in Houston is beautiful, so first I went for a long walk in the sunshine and then went to what I consider to be one of the most holy places in the city. If you ever come to Houston, it's called the Rothko Chapel. I sat in the middle of this holy space, whose walls are hung with the most magnificent canvases that are all done in shades of black and Sat Nam'd myself into a stupor. Really made the effort to smell the air, hear the traffic, feel how I felt and recognize that the people with whom I've found myself in conflict lately were not there, so I didn't need to keep talking to them in my head. So, it's gotten a bit better as the day has progressed. My next plan is to give myself a massae with my favorite sandlewood oil - rising Kundalini is SO hard on the skin! Sat Nam, Leo Quote
