Sat Nam,

Hi. I am having some trouble with the left side of my body - knee pain,

balance in poses and I was wondering what that could be. I heard that the

left and right sides of the body represent different things.

Sat Nam,

Amanda

Hello, all,

I did not see any respond to this question. Could

anybody who knows anything about the subject give some

information. I have problems with the right side, and

always was wondering why.

Thanks,

Agali

I can't offer anything on this without a little conversation, at the very least.

Check with an acupuncturist and see if they can work with you.

They would see if any meridians are off and may very well resolve your problem.

There may be deeper reasons, but the left side of the body is the feminine

side with the right being the masculine. When working on the right side it

may be easier to forge ahead, where working with the left may be more subtle

and emotional.

I realize this is not specific to Kundalini Yoga, but I think a good

source for balancing energy is Energy Medicine by Donna Eden.

It has a lot of good information it....but you have to make your own

determination....I don't think it's incompatible with KY, but then, I am

a rank novice at yoga, and probably ill equiped to make any posts about

any energy work.....

What would you like to know? I would be happy to

talk. My accupuncturist doesn't know what could be a

cause for it.
