Parad (Mercury) Ganapati Sadhana?Parad Poison?

Mercury is poisonous, so I don't recommend touching it withyour skin. Some

suggest painting it with clear varnish before using it. If you put "parad" in a

web search engine, you should come up withseveral Indian companies that sell

statues and objects made of this"solidified mercury."And I always thought that

<Vajra> was used to describe either diamond, orcarved quartz crystal.I have a

small quartz crystal Ganapati statue on my altar. He looksgorgeous by

candlelight, and is reputed to be the form of "Rina-mochanaGanapati," the
