Usually maha mantra are refferring to mantra like panchakshari mantra for Lord

Shiva and Hare Krishna mantra of gaudiyas parampara. The bija mantra or Kali

Maa is kreem. Pronounced kareeng or krim according to the tradition lineage it

originates and bija mantra are given during guru upadesha during diksha

(initiation) .

The Kali mantra are many like ;

1) om hrim srim parameswari kalike svaha

2) om krim kalkayai namah

3) om krim kalyai namah

4) om krim krim krim hum hum hrim hrim daksina kalika krim krim krim hum hum hrim hrim svaha

All the the recitation for japa depends on what form kali do you worship . The

mantra japa goes according to the mantra dhyana ( meditation form). Please ask

you guru with what form of Kali does the recitation of krim takes

place........................

Thank you for your information. I do not have a Guru who has given me the Kali

Mantra, but I myself recite OM KREEM 108 times every evening after worshipping

Maa Kali in my small puja place. I think that relation between God and

Worshipper is direct, and we dont need a Guru to initiate any bond. Its like a

mother and child relation.

I shall now practice the mahamantra om krim kalkayai namah from your valuable

list, on my evening worship.

Thank you a lot

.. I do not have a Guru who has given me the Kali Mantra, but I myself recite OM

KREEM 108 times every evening after worshipping Maa Kali in my small puja

place.

Whoever or wherever you received this from is the upaguru ........................

I think that relation between God and Worshipper is direct, and we dont need a

Guru to initiate any bond

Yes adi-guru is Maa Kali. She alone manifest for you in various form to teach

you .......... She is your First guru.........................................

.. Its like a mother and child relation.

Yes mother is the second guru for the child ...........................

Father is the third guru ........................

Spritual guide is the fourth guru ...........................................

There is a saying in tamil

Matha-pitha-guru-deivam.........................................

Mother-father-master- god

They are no different they are the same. She alone became eveyrthing for you..........

Guru means Dispeller of Darkness. Darkness here is symbolised by ignorance and

light represents truth . Whoever that have brought you closer to truth then is

your guru (friend,t,v, newpaper etc. etc)

One avadhutha had 22 gurus. Guru is does not give intiiation alone . You could

read the real qualification of spritual guide under Guru Gita and Kulanarva

Tantra to understand real qualification of disciple. Both are rare nowdays

.................

I shall now practice the mahamantra om krim kalkayai namah from your valuable

list, on my evening worship.

The only valuable thing in the list is your love for Mother Kali. Would you like

to learn the meaning of this mantra as well so it helps you in internalised them

more in your daily practice?"

If you planning to do japa I suggest you do it with pranayama as well. Would you

like to know the methodology ?

I can share them here (ther is nothing to hide or be secretive about ) if you are interested ?

Namaskaar..! Thank you for your email, and your advise. Yes I would surely like

to know the meaning of the mantra as you said and that would be very helpful,

as well as the methodology of pranayama.

Thank you once again for your help and assistance. May I ask you where you are

located and your age, if you dont mind me asking these questions.

Thanking you and may ma-kali's blessing be always on you.
