Guest guest Posted July 18, 2003 Report Posted July 18, 2003 Namaste RBS, > Can any body tell about Kuliga Kali? Kuliga Kali are also known as Kughizha Kali was worshipped by Sri Ram and his brother Bharatha thus please read Ramayana to get more details on Her ( Adhayatma Ramayana would be a good help) She is depicted to have 10 faces , 1000 hands and 27 eyes unlike Her form in Chandi Path which has 10 heads , 10 hands and 10 legs or the popular image as having 4 hands and 1 head. And she is usually seen as sitting at Vishnu navel on top of 5 corpses Does any body have mantra for Kuliga Kali? It is stated Lord Rama achieved his desires by worshipping Her with 17 lettered mantra would not be given to the uninitiated. I know a temple in Singapore that might help you on this matter called Sri Ruthra Kaliamman Temple and their address would be www. ruthrakali.org( the details above and other forms could also be found there ) may be you could contact the presiding priest there to help in obtaining the mantra ? Any way I also came to know the rare devata -vigraha(image) is available at Delhi Museum I hope this information helps you in you pursuit ................ Jai Maa!! Quote
