No. Rameswaram temple is a saivite temple i think!!!

 

Tirupallani near rameswaram is in 108

Rameswaram is only an ABHIMANASTHALAM, like Guruvayoor, Madurantakam. The only

aspect for visiting Rameswaram by Vaishnavites is as the lingam established

there was by Shri Ramachandramoorthy Himself. I don't think there is any other

valid reasons for visiting Rameswaram.

As for my knowledge goes, Lord rAma did not worship

lord siva in rAmEswaram, according to valmiki

ramayana. However, such a story is heard from tulasi

das's 'ram charita mAnasa'. I also heard many SrI

vaishNava authorities rejecting that version. I

request some learned vaishNavas shed more light on

this.
