Where to order books and also out of prints you can see on: www.geocities.com/bhagavanramama (RMCFL = Ramana Maharshi Centre for Learning, Bangalore) In HIM Gabriele Biographies - Narasimha Swami: Self Realization. - Ramanasramam was already published in 1934. It is the classic about the early years of Ramana. All the other biographers have used it as a source. - Osborne, Arthur: Ramana Maharshi and the Path of Self-Knowledge was written by Osborne soon after the Maharshi's death and is also a classic. Mahadevan, T.M.P.: Ramana Maharshi. - Unwin (London) gives a good start, containing life, some works and about the teaching (I don't know if it is still available) - Natarajan, A.R.: Timeless in Time. - RMCFL, 1999 is the newest one and very detailed - Sri Maharshi: A Short Life-Sketch. - Ramanasramam for short information Reminiscences - Brunton, Paul: A Search in Secret India was published already in 1934 and gives a good impression on the Ashram life and Ramana in the thirties. - Cohen, S.S.: Guru Ramana. - Ramanasramam about the teaching, the second part is a diary of Cohen, which describes very vividely the late years and the last months in the life of Ramana - Ganesan, V.: Moments Remembered. - Ramanasramam many beautiful short Ramana-reminiscences from various devotees - Godman, David: Living by the Words of Bhagavan. - Sri Annamalai Swami Ashram Trust reminiscences of Annamalai Swami, who did a lot for the construction of the various buildings at Ramanasramam - Godman, David: The Power of the Presence, parts I and II (III will come out soon). - Tiruvannamalai is a collection of reminiscences of different devotees - Humphreys, Frank: Glimses of the Life and Teaching of Bhagavan Sri Ramana Maharshi Humphreys was the first Westerner, who met Ramana in 1911 (a small booklet) - Kunju Swami: Reminiscences. - Ramansramam As Kunju was one of the closest devotees we find here much on the life of Ramana from 1920 onwards - Mouni Sadhu: In Days of Great Peace. - Ramanasramam the late years - Mudaliar, Devaraja: Day by Day with Bhagavn. - Ramanasramam gives a good report about life and teaching covering March 1945 to Jan. 1947 - Nagamma, Suri: Letters from Sri Ramanasramam and dto: Letters from and Recollections of Sri Ramanasramam similar as Mudaliar covering Nov. 1945 to Febr. 1950 - Natarajan, A.R.: First Meetings with Ramana Maharshi: First Person Accounts. - RMCFL - Ramana Smrti. - Ramansramam containing a lot of reminiscences of many devotees, the first ed. is out of print, the sec. ed. available was unfortunately very much shortened - Reddy, N. May I suggest that you also set a link also to SAT: www.SATRamana.org SAT is focused on Ramana, and the practice of self- inquiry, as taught by Ramana. Thank you again for that nice ceocities page.
