8 siddhis and more

the following are the eight siddhis (asta-siddhis),

 

anima

laghima

mahima

garima

prapti

prakamya

vashitva

isitva

 

these are basically to control to five elements only,

"paanch mahabhoot" (prithvi, jal, agni, vayu, akaash)

once you get, you can do a lot,,but not all

things.....

like take an example, "aakash gaman" siddhi is used to

walk/fly in sky,,you can use this to go remote places.

this siddhi can be achieved by tantra as well as

mantra too, once u achieve the above eight siddhis, u

becomes able to walk/fly in the sky.

 

but there are limitations of these eight siddhis,,,

 

if you come forward than these 8 siddhis, there are

three more powerful (in fact most powerful), those are

as follows,

 

1. manojvitva

2. vikranabhav

3. pradhanjaya

 

the difference is , "laghima" or "akaash gaman" gives

to ability to walk/fly in sky, but you have limits,

like, u can not go to moon in 1 second or so,,

eg. if you have to go from delhi to london it will

take time,,,,of course less but will take travel time.

but in the case of "manojvitva", you can go to moon in

1 second.

 

have you people seen matrix? the enemy people and

their insertion in other characters? this can be

achieved by "vikranbhav",,,,sadhak can insert himself

in people in remotely located place ...no need to have

a body like in "parkaya pravesh"..

 

the third is "pradhanjay", this is basically the

control over the whole nature , not only "paanch

mahabhoot" (5 elements). this is the

 

state just before "kaivalya", where u actually see the

god, the divine light..

 

once the sadhak has no interest in above all siddhis,

he comes in kaivalya state..

 

finally the tooriya awastha.
