How you perform your daily pooja

Dear Brothers & sisters,

Here are few thoughts from various sadhaks including me.

 

 

Sit with calm and serene emotions on worship mat. Your face should reflect

affection and respect towards Ishta Devta.

Don’t sit with a sulking face and emotions filled with anger,frustration and

other negative thoughts. They will not make you rough & tough sdahak. Don’t

be carried away by outward show of negative thoughts,emotions& expressions like

an Amitabh Bacchan arguing with statue of God in a temple

When you interact with outside world , you are all smiles and giggles. Then why

reserve negative feeling for Guru or Ishta Devta.

Don’t be like a typical bania who is always sulking about profits and gains he

makes in business, he will be complaining about dull markets and lack of

profit.

Now what kind of mentality is working in the background, all of you can very

well imagine. Why should you do the same with your Guru and ishta devta?

Guru is our friend, Guide,philosopher,moyher,father,wealth and everything else.

If you sit in pooja with positive emotions and serene face, Guru will not

withhold the boons which he has in store for you. Don’t worry about that

aspect. Guru will not assume that you have had enough of wealth and happiness

and you do not need anymore.You always make great effort to bring a smile on

your face whenever you spek to your girlfriend,boyfriend,beloved wifeor

husband. Don’t you think that your ishta Devi jagdamga also wants to see your

similing face? Don’t you think that you should be looking into the eyes of Guru

in matra japa with complete attention just like you look into the eyes of your

beloved?

Jagdambs knows what troubles you are facing in your life. You don’t need to

show it by bringing pathetic expression on your face and amplifying the

feeling of sadness and helplessness. If you continue in such a hypocritic way

then you will get few favours but you will not get siddhi. You will not achieve

a state of mind where you will complete contentment and satisfaction from your

activities in life.

Choice is yours. Don’t expect your Guru or ishta to fulfill all conditions of

success. Some part you will also have to play.
