Jai Gurudev,

Dear Rakshitji,

I wonder how did you guess that i am not familier with

the origin of TM? What pressed you to think that? let

me know first...

secondly, i know that Maharihi Mahesh Yogiji has made

some changes in old meditation techniques and

introduced TM, in fact all gurus did that,,,,

every guru has made some changes in traditional

procedures and have introduced their own techniques...

like Pt Ravi Shanker's Art of Living,,,

TM Sidhi, which is basically originated from "Maharihi

Patanjali Yoga Darshan"...i have been practicing TM

and TM Sidhi for last 7-8 years. and find some strange

experiences nowdays, which i wanted to share with

those who are practicing TM.

If you are doing so, it would be really great to

discuss with you, otherwise i do not believe in

sensational life and things filled with false igoes...

Actually i doensn't know too much about TM. I came to

know about it in a Discovery Channel program and found

it very interesting. I want to know what kind of

effect/changing you are feeling in your life after

practing TM Sidhi.

It's nice to hear from your side.

Yes. I have done TM. But in one seminar held in Mumbai, Mahalaxmi Temple, I have

asked the same question to Shree Maharsi Yogi, and he can't answer this

question. That's why i asked you.

Anyways, you said that it comes from Maharsi Patanjali's Yogsutras, it is also wrong.

Actually, you read the Literature.

I am introducing TM to all the TMers who are new and old to the TM.

Sorry its not my ego...i don't want to prove anything..i m not that great

personality. You are right on your side, i m right on my side. Because i have

read the literature. And the word "Transcendental" is first introduced in Greek

Literature about 450 years back.

There was a poet, named "Emerson" about 16 years old little boy. He has written

a poem about "God" how to talk directly with the god. All the details he has

written in his poem is related to god. He named this poem - "Transcendental

Desires". The word "Transcendental" then widely used across the world. Oxford

University Press added this latest word in its dictionary in 1920. The poem was

written in 1844.

Sorry to say, but there is not any reference that Maharshi Patanjal has invented

the Transcendental Meditation or someone else.

So, if you have any doubt, please search for Emerson's poem "Transcendental

Desires" and read it. You will find you are doing similar things that poet has

written about god.

Sorry i m very strong in my words, that may be confused someone about my

thoughts or personality. But my dear friend this is the thing i have marked in

my past few years continuous watch that "Saints" are following that poet's

thoughts and naming themselves that they have changed and invented this "TM".

nothing else.

dear charanji,

thnx for ur reply. i have been practicing TM since

1997 and TM Sidhi since 1997-98. I learned TM by Dr.

Matthew Braunstein and did Sidhi program in Lucknow by

Sri Harish Dhasmanaji.

I wanted to know first that r u in regular practice of

TM or not? if yes, r u getting regular effects or have

you ever experienced any exclusive effect?

dear rakshitji,

thank you bery much for providing me such interesting

information on "Transcendental" and TM. i never knoe

that, or you can say i never tried to search on that.

actually, T. Meditation can be an enhancement out of

the searched by that poem, but as far as TM Sidhi is

concerned, its about some of the Sutras introduced by

Maharsihi Patanjali, in his "Yoga Darshan Sutras". the

people who do TM Sidhi Program use some special sutras

from "Yoga Darshan Sutras" only.

i have been practicing both TM and TM Sidhi since

1997.

and just wanted to know from any of the person here

who is doing the same, something special. and the

person who does TM Sidhi practice can only give the

answers..

so try to find a TM Teacher..
