Jai Gurudev

I have been using a rosary for chanting the Guru Mantra for about 7 months.

Today while chanting the rosary's thread snapped and as such lots of the

beads fell out. Now I'm in a dilemma what should I do ? Should I try to

string the beads together or get another one.?

thanks

Jai Gurudev,

You should not worry about the snaping of thread. Thread gets

weakened by constant friction with the beads, adn gets snapped. You

should string the beads together in a new thread. Try to use a

strong thread (maybe a plastic one will be better).

After tying the bead, do a small pujan of the rosary with dhoop,

deep, etc. Wash them in Panchamrit if possible. Place the rosary in

pujya Gurudev's Holy feet, seeking His blessings. Then, you start to

use it again

Hope it helps, and hope that I am not providing wrong info!

One suggestion is to string the beads together in mahendra or amrit

kaal. While you are stringing the beads keep reciting Guru Mantra. This

method was suggested by someone at Gurudham.

i have heard that energised articles should not touch ground. If they do

then there energy gets earthed ( goes away ). Except that nothing else

happens to the articles. I am not sure if this really happens or not.

More learned sadhaks may help you with more insight on it.

RE: Digest Number 723

Jai Gurudev

I have been using a rosary for chanting the Guru Mantra for about 7

months.

Today while chanting the rosary's thread snapped and as such lots of the

beads fell out. Now I'm in a dilemma what should I do ? Should I try to

string the beads together or get another one.?

thanks
