Namaste!

Anu asked a wonderful question- what exactly

constitutes inner realisation. I was inclined to think

that having dreams, visions, flying in the air ... all

constitute inner realisation. After having thought

about it, I came to the following conclusion-

1) able to keep your calmness, and not to get angry

when provoked

2) able to have compassion, when insulted

3) able to have kindness, when abused

4) able to be truthful, no matter how painful it can

be

5) able to practice forgiveness in the face of

criticism

6) able to have courage to face whatever situation

your situation in life is.

so congragulations anu, you are indeed inner realised.

Aum Namasivaya,

Vijay

Self realised is not an easy job. I had been reciting shasrar jaagran mantra

for more than a year and still i was just able to get very minute

experiences out of this revered chakra.

We have to do a concious control of our desires otherwise its impossible to

get self realised in th presence of these desires. There should be only one

desire and that should to be one with one's spiritual teacher or God or

everything that exists. Its very true that unless one gives up all one can't

get all and the only person who has as intense the longing as ojne who longs

for air underwater only that person will be the just disciple for getting

self realised.

Pujya Gurudev has said in one of his pravachans about "Ashthvakra Gita".

Gurudev said that the impotance of this book is even more than that of

Bhagvad gita and all other gita's. if someone wants to get glimpse of what a

self realised person is like then one should try to read this Gita. It is an

valuable source of knowledge for anyone who only aim in life is know

oneself.

Anu i think Sri Krishna behaved according to 2) and 3)rd point as

given above even in battle field. One who knows himself, this world and

everything that exists will remain unperturbed even in battle field for he

is the one who rules.

If one tries to be truthful then one will come face to face with the reality

of how much one knows and this wiull urge the truthful person to improve

himself/herself. If a person is truthful he will live like a lion at

workplace otherwise he/she will succumb to the wrong doings of the company

sometime or the other. I know its pretty hard to be truthful and to adhere

to all the policies laid down by company but if one does that i think that

person will be someone great for he/she will be someone who will never

succumb to any wrong doing.

i really am not able to see that. i am spiritually way behnd you... to

me killing of karna is anything but moral, or manipulating the sun

light at duryodhan's time. BUt i accept that i do not understand it,

tell krishna exactly what i think of him, he is allowed to think

whatever he wishes to about this lost soul, that is fine...

i have feeling he does not mind. he knows fully that religion has to

come and help a person where he is....the person cannot climb up to th

elevel of religion...

i understand

but i still am not interested in spiritaul upliftment etc. if i can do

what i am supposed to very well,

if i work it should be outstanding, if i cook it should be great,

if i clean the room should shine

if i dance it should be perfect (but it already is...)

if i dress i should look mind bogglind

if i pray i should do it with feeling

if i chant i should do it with concentration.

if i sing i should be less off tune...

if i can practice before i preach i will be very content that

i lead a good life.

i do not want kundalini jagran..

i want to lead my life to the full, enjoy every moment not perhaps

letting go of the moral path

that is more than enough for me.

but even if i made a few mistakes, heeaven does not fall...

in the end i am going to be the child who goes and cries in his

mother's arms, who embraces him yet gives a chiding i told you not to

do that. i am confident that a welcoming lap will always await me no

matter what i do, even if i go deep down in sins, even if i degerate

into a lower being than human....

if i am ever given a chance i will happily do whatever i can to help

another soul, yyet i admit that my motive is my my own happiness...

And the pleasure in being born again....!!!

the idea fills me with happiness.

as for mukti, one day many thousand years from now, Shiva

will perform a tandav he will take the creation back,

i too would go like the rest of the lesser souls left behind who

could not do so themselves.

why worry??

my end is safe....

with this i really vanish...

ashish,

if raviraji really wants the kavach please forward it to my other

email id

good wishes

hey anu i am not saying that u or u shouldn't get self realised or that you

jaagrit ur kundalini. Everyone is free to choose their own paths to live

i guess u said the unsaid in following :-)

you know the biggest scare i have in my life is of mukti...

> somehow i am convinced that this is my last birth and

that depresses me no end, i really try very hard to throw this idea of

my head--whenever GOD is in a mood to listen, i keep explaining who

would come and talk so lovingly and try to maniputlate you into her

ways if i become one with you...

a cousin of mine when she was 17 or 18 (not so young) came to me and

exclaimed, i do not know why people are afraid of dying and what lies

ahead,

i am not afraid at all,

i have no problems with dying, only one mere marne ke baad jo naye

naye hero heroine ki pictuire aayengi main kaise dekhoongi, that is

the only sorrow of my life..

most of you may have heard this popular bhajan...

but still...talking of dying and mukti...

before i vanish....

itna to karna swami

jab praan tan se nikle

Govind naam le ke

mera pran tan se nikale

shri gangaji ka tat ho

jamuna ka vanshi bat ho

mera sanwara nikat ho

jab praan tan se nikale

peetambari kasi ho

chabi man me yeh basi ho

honthon pe kuch hansi ho

jab praan tan se nikale

jab kanth praan aaye

koi rog na sataye

yam darash na dikhaye

jab praan tan se nikale

us waqt jaldi aana

nahin shyaam bhool jana

radhe ko saath lana

jab praan tan se nikale

ek bhakt ki hai arzi

khud garaz ki hai garzi

aaage tumhaari marzi

jab praan tan se nikale

itna to karna swami

jab praan tan se nikale

may all of us lost souls see whoever is their isht/ guru as the last

thing before we die...if that happens no sadhna, no

prayer, no philosophy or even good karma is needed. no siddhi no

kundalini jagran can beat this supreme end...

true, but remember to see that one has to develop the habit of

thinking of him by doing satsanga/reading sriptures or praying.

so u have to do that always see that intensity increaes as u keep

growing old, becos its easy to loose focus in this mayatic world ,

so more u put into practise, more the chances are that u will see ur

beloved. i have known a faith which is based purely on this fact,

they are least bothered abt ur past, but they only stress on cleaning

and putting the habit of remembering lord, and they practise it at

the

most for 1 hr a day.

I have read somewhere in MTY few yrs back that there are 16or 64

kalas

(arts) and the beauty is to have all of them, and lead a life filled

with all of them.krishna is one who had all of them(16) so he is

considered as purna avtar i dont know abt others, so beauty of life

lies in fulfilling that, i think its not difficult, i have seen

atleast one master to do that.

i have read abt the greatness of krishna in a book by a realised soul,

its abt the greatness of krishna and karna, karna actually commited

so

many good karmas that even after being shotdown he would not die, he

had lot of good karma left, so he was unable to die and hovering in

pain , so krishna unable to bear it comes as a ... and ask for karna

kundalas , and karna who has a big heart gives it away, which causes

him to exit the body smoothly

so see the care krishna has taken abt karna...

sorry for the poor story , but i usually take the gist and cant

reproduce the story properly

(sorry id ont know the exzct words)

the gist is that there are many things which we may come across at

some time or the other seem conflicting if we remain limited beings,

to enjoy the beauty of creation one should try to attain all kalas

its not possible by leading a life of ordinary being, this not to

hurt

any one this is the experience i gained with my masters.

Gurudev used to say grhisth jeevan should be like,

Ek haat me bhog ho Ek haath me moksh ho.

i personally believe that krishna is a live demonstration of it.

affectionately

Jai Gurudev
