Guest guest Report post Posted April 26, 2001 -- dear brother, Jai GuruDev although i cannot speak from first hand personal experience, i am sure it is possible. I had heard from guru bhai that Gurudev had changed a very plain woman infront of them into a very attractive one in a demonstration many years ago. First take Guru Diksha, (and start performing dainik poojan as recommended by Gurudham), and then if you are based in India go and unhesitatingly discuss your problem with Gurudev tell him that you desperately want to look good. He will give to the required Dikshas, and the mantras. Otherwise just send a mail. And you will get a response soon. But please do remember one thing, if you want something badly that is how you get it. Do not expect a miracle overnight, and be prepared to repeat your sadhnas, and take more Dikshas if needed until you reach your goal. I have heard that changing physical appearance is relatively tougher.Remember that the strength of your soul apart from Guru Kripa are essential for success in sadhnas. And obstructions, and deficiencies of all kinds are a result of prev paaps, or bad karma. So perform atleast one sava lakh ka anushthan of Guru mantra. May GuruDev bless you with all that you desire and success. Then i guess this relatively a simple task. Sadhana and Mantra should be only be taken from someone well qualified. Its better if u discuss with Pujya Gurudev or u can even mention the Harish Johari's sadhana to Pujya Gurudev. He/she is not a robot or slave. He/she is a complete human being. i mean to say if i die. And if my body is burnt. And then if someone has the knowledge he/she can make me again from my pieces of bones and implant my soul in to th created body. Guest guest Report post Posted May 15, 2001 Jai Gurudev, I too agree with Anuragji. A lot of new literature has been published on Tantra & Sadhanas etc. in the past few years. There has been a rise in awareness about Tantra, Yoga, Ayurveda and other Indian spiritual sciences in the West and in India. Most of this "new" literature has come in to fill in the demand-supply gap, and falls in the category of "junk, copycat" literature. Moroever, this is an era of advertising & publicity. People give high esteem to presentation, reviews_from_"socalled"_intellects and other marketing props instead of real quality. It is as Gurudev said - "Your thoughts are nakali (pseudo_truth/impure), your eyes are nakali (pseudo-truth), and so you fall very easily into the trap of someone who himself is nakali. An impure person can easily attract other impures to himself. A gold plated copper ring glitters much more strongly than pure gold." Books on Tantras and Sadhanas have been available in the Indian society for past thousands of years. Examples include "Bhrigu Sanhita", "Ravan Sanhita" , "Gorakhnath Tantra", puraans, upanishads etc. etc. It is very easy to pick up 10-15 books, and then prepare a "new" book out of it. Moroever, even if someone has performed a "Sadhana", and achieved success in it, then it is not a very big achievement. There are hundreds of different ways to perform a Sadhana, and same procedure might not apply to everyone. For Example, depending on a person's horoscope, some specific Mantras are more compatible for the person. Similarly, some deities are more beneficial than others due to past life karmas. And of course the particular situation and circumstances might necessitate a unique action. So, i guess that this is not a one-sure-shot solution. Everyone is different and everyone will need his/her own "customised" solution. There is a BIG difference between learning Sadhana from book, and learning from a Guru. Bookish knowledge wont tell u subtle naunces, and wont guide you. A Guru has to be someone who has achieved success in the field from various angles, who Himself has tried and achieved success in different procedures, who can prepare new Sadhana Mantras & procedures depending on the disciple's needs, who is equally proficient in Yoga, Astrology, Sadhanas, Tantra, Ayurveda etc. Only such a learned authority on these sciences can provide right guidance. Secondly, Tantra is NOT a plaything. It is a tough task, and in absence of any guidance or Diksha from Gurudev, it is akin to playing with fire. Even a small mistake can destroy the person, because Tantra basically means forcing a deity to carry out one's wishes. Trying to force even a human or animal is a herculean and dangerous task. We do not realise this, but the protective cloak of Guru Diksha & other Shaktipaat Diksha protects us from these dangers. It aint difficult to write a book on Tantra at all. Just go to any shop in Nai Sarak in Delhi, and you will find hundreds of books there!! I will be inclined to take anything from these books with a big pinch of salt. Moroever, as a disciple of my Gurudev, I sud follow only my Gurudev's books and words. If I follow others, then in my thoughts, I will be doing a treachery with my Guru. He trusted me, and granted me Diksha and transferred His own spiritual energy into me. I should reciprocate the trust with sincere devotion and faith. One doesnt change Guru. Once, you have accepted someone as Guru, then it is a relationship for life, for multiple lives... One has to profess and follow all the qualities of a "sati". So, in my view, if someone has taken Diksha from Pujyapaad Sadgurudev or Pujya Trimurti Gurudevs, then one already is on a very high plane, and now posseses a big potential within. He sud follow single-mindedly only his Guruji's words and avoid getting distracted by such literature. The body is simply a set mixture of 5 elements, and the human being can come into existance by making this mixture, and transferring the soul back. This Sadhana is also called as "Mrit Sanjeevani Sadhana". However, this a very, very tough Sadhana to accomplish, and is granted only after extensive tests to avoid misuse. Typically a person having knowledge of this Sadhana will be a highly elevated individual who doesnt worry about such mundane tasks like doing household work. Such an individual exists to provide benefits to the society at large. There are some Sadhanas to attract and force bhoots (ghosts) to perform household work!!
