HEARTY CONGRAGULATIONS

 

Gurudev once told that

'a noble act has already a divine acceptance '

for example to help a man in need u need not ask permission, i hope u

understand what i mean

 

iam telling it in a humble tone

 

it means that if u intend to do anything unselfish/dharma by default

has divine acceptance ,permission need not be taken specially,

 

if u are not sure about its usefulness ,than u have to take

permission defenitely,

i see that new site

 

goals

 

1)intend to reduce the load on the main site is a good thing

by providing the content and filtering....

 

it would be better if we evolve a framework to materialise this idea

 

so from my experience of seeing multiple websites

for ex(www.sivanandadlshq.org)

i have following suggestion

 

divide the content into 2 categories

categories

 

1)it should have general stuff for masses

2)specific stuff for people who are involved in sadhana

 

in the first category

 

this new site should act as an information archive of the knowledge

that Gurudev wanted the world to know

so in this respect we have to do activities that look something like

the below

1)archive all the 240 issues MANTRA TANTRA YANTRA VIGYAN magazine

this concept should not die becos Gurudev started it with purpose of

dissemintaion of knowledege to massses , initially before i actually

decided to meet Gurudev i have read lot of content (non sadhana

related) and i was impressed and decided to meet him so old issues

defenitely have more than 30% non sadhana content and besides the

depth and breadth of sadhana content also gives u a good informatioon

that there is something and we are just not blabbering as most of the

fake sites do

 

so we have to archive all the issues

but now we have to take a decision as to how do we do it

1)give the information in compressed format (zip files)

2)load the information as pdf files so that downlaoded info is smooth

to read/printout becos the audince is masses and they should feel

good about how the content is delivered

 

then we have to give multiple opetion as to

1)download magzine in PDF format zipped either year wise/6 months so

on 2)topic wise......

 

in this way we will be reducing the space that is occupied and

delivered

and this would serve good purpose of reducing the laod on the main

website as people who want to downlaod would have a link to the new

site from the cuurent site

so our main website will still remain the primary one

and in this respect we have to contact the main site organizers as to

how arrange the new links in the site

 

similarly audio and video should also presented (though it will be a

later issue we have to accumulate

money to buy the space,instruments required)

 

books also should be in pdf (becos the audience is world wide)

 

so my initial things would be to put

1)few books2)magazines in pdf and zipped format wiht the link from

the main website

 

all this should be free, remember Gurudev used to tell in shivirs to

buy the magazines for less amount and distribute to people for free,

(he told that knowledge charities is greatest of all the charities)

so we have to bear the expenses and most of the stuff in the website

should be free

see that is the way things catch fast

if we try to ask for money it will create a bad impression to the

world as this site is a window to the world, becos once we had

sizeable information we will give this link to portals so that it can

serve as an useful link , but if the purpose of disemination of

knwoledge is to be served we have to put some free content and then

submit it to good portals for a link

 

coming to the 2 category

specific sadhanas, questions and experiences ,tips

that should be more personal and they have to contact GURUDHAM for

that

if u agree now how to get the books/cassettes pdf and zip format we

have to think about the resoucesc and content pretty soon

 

my sincere suggestion is see some other sites

and come up with ideas

an ex www.sivanandadlshq.org this is about the revered

Sivananda Maharaj of Divine life society

 

so build on this ,we may not get something up by aprl 21 but what i

feel is things have started right now,

and probably on 21 we will officially launch a site

with name and link from the main site

for this i want ashish to oversee the responsibilites and contact us

for any help regarding setting this
