I need all of your support and in return I will do whatever I can to give you all mine, in some way. Is there anyone else here from the Uk? I am waiting to get information on Guru Diksha. As I am waiting, i am wondering how long it takes for sadhana articles to get to the UK from India. Also, I am interested in getting hold of the Paarad ring does anyone else have one? what is it like? is it really as powerful as it seems? I look forward to hearing from ANYONE. Paarad is made of mercury. Paarad ring is considered useful for both spiritual and financial gain though you must not expect any miracle. Sadhanas and sadhana articles are as powerful as nature, slow but sure. Have a nice weekend... Guest guest Report post Posted February 26, 2001 Jai Gurudev, Welcome ! Guru Diksha is the basic requirement to get into the field of Sadhanas. Sadhanas by themselves are pretty complicated and each Sadhana has specific intricacies associated with it. Even a small mistake might nullify the Sadhana. One needs to be pure in both mind and body and perform regular Yogic exercises to obtain purity. Diksha is a Divine gift from revered Gurudev by which, Gurudev does 99% of the tasks for the Sadhak. The disciple just needs to follow Revered Gurudev's instructions to achieve success. As the website mentions, Diksha awakens the latent Divinity of the disciple. So, a disciple gets success inspite of the basic mistakes and shortcomings. One needs to take Diksha again and again to purify oneself. Some of the Tantrik Sadhanas are pretty complicated and a bit dangerous. It is said that performing such Sadhanas is like walking on the sharp edge of the sword. One mistake, and you get decimated. One needs constant supervision of Pujaniya Trimurti Gurudevs during such Sadhanas. There are various ways in which Gurudev protects Sadhak after Diksha. It could be in the form of inner voice, or a feeling of thought during Sadhana, or during dreams, or by physical manifestation to snatch Sadhak from accident, or by making favourable circumstances etc. etc. . Prabhu has his own "Vichitra" Leela. Our mortal flesh and brain cannot understand the significance of His actions. Most of us don't realise it, but Gurudev is always present with the Sadhak after Diksha. There are many Sadhaks in UK. However, most of them are spread out and , unfortunately contact is a bit less. Anyway, you may post to this discussion forum, and discuss various issues. Getting Sadhana articles in UK/USA/.. from Gurudham takes a bit of time. Basically, transfer of payment is the main delaying factor. We send money in form of cheque or draft, and the clearance of overseas payment takes 3-4 weeks. The Indian banks take their own sweet time to process the payment, and the bureucracy and red tape/forms/files contribute to delay. In my experience, it takes around 3 weeks if you send money thru draft. Draft seems to be the quickest option to get material. Someone told me once that Gurudham is considering about accepting credit card payments to speeden up the process. However, there is also one more quicker way to get material. Basically, Jodhpur Gurudham maintains accounts of all the magazine members and credits individual membership no. account with the amount received. What I have done in the past is this - Sent a bulk amount (actual amount for articles + some reserve amount) to Jodhpur Gurudham, with a letter requesting them to keep the balance in reserve. And then , I use the reserve amount when I need the articles urgently by sending them a letter to use the remaining amount & confirming it up with a phone call. You may use this method. But remember, that Jodhpur Gurudham is not a bank, and IMHO it might be advisable to maintain a limit on number of outstanding transactions for reserve amount. There is a detailed article on Paarad ring on the web site. There are many Sadhanas for this. Basically, everyone gets lots of Divine experiences by performing Sadhanas. But everyone's experiences are private to the individual. Confidentiality is a major pillar in Tantra, and one should ideally talk only to one's Guru about one's experiences. One should have a direct communication only with Gurudev and should discuss about all Sadhana and Diksha related matters with Him thru letter/person.email/phone etc. So, most of the Gurubhais are reluctant to talk about their own experiences. Be rest assured that these Sadhanas and Sadhana articles are really authentic and that one really achieves incredible successes. As Pujya Gurudev said in one of His discourses - Take Diksha and use authentic articles to perform Sadhana. If you don't get success, then do a self assessment to find your mistakes and discuss with Me about it and perform Sadhana again. If you are not getting success even after performing Sadhana many times, then come back to Me and we will analyse everything and find route for success. But perform Sadhanas. And perform Sadhanas in the CORRECT way. Sadhanas are authentic. If I can obtain success in them, then you can also obtain success in them ..... Guest guest Report post Posted February 26, 2001 Jai Gurudev, I agree with Ashishji. Chanting GuruMantra for 125,000 (Basically Anusthaan) is very beneficial. One surely gets some Divine experience. I think that everyone should do at least one Guru Mantra Anushthaan before starting on some serious Sadhanas. IMHO, it is a sureshot way to get success. When we do Guru Mantra japa it charges n throws up at an elated level also the contact with guruji is also maintained. Any sadhana done after Japa of Guru Mantra will give much better results.
