Namaste,

The text closest to these words are in Pali Canon:

http://www.vri.dhamma.org/newsletters/nl9204.html

Sabbe satta sukhi hontu,

sabbe hontu ca khemino.

Sabbe bhadrani passantu,

ma kinci papamagama,

ma kinci dukkhamagama,

ma kinci sokamagama.

May all beings be happy;

May they all be secure.

May they all see good fortune;

May no evil befall them.

May no suffering befall them;

May no sorrow befall them

The sholokAs are shAnti mantrAs. Here is the complete verse that

includes "sarvE bhavantu sukinaH":

kAlE varshatu parjanyaH

prithivI sasyashAlinI

dEshOyam kshObharahitaH

sajjanAssantu nirbhayAH

sarvE bhavantu sukhinaH

sarvE santu nirAmayAH

sarvE bhadrANi pashyantu

mA kaschit duKabAgbhavEt

swasti prajAbhyaH paripAlayantAm

nyAyEna mArgENa mahIm mahIshAH

gObrAhmaNEbhyaH shubhamastu nityam

lOkAssamastAssukhinO bhavantu

samastalOkAssukhinO bhavantu

Crude translation:

May the rains rain on time

May the earth be full of plants

May this country be free from agitation

May the good people be fearless

May everyone be happy

May everyone be free of illness

May all that is seen be blessed

Let there never be sorrow

May the earth be ruled by kings who govern their subjects well as per

law

May cattle and brahmins have good tidings always

May the whole world be happy

May the whole world be happy

Best regards,

Ramachandra
