A while back someone asked what "prapatti" meant.

I am not sure it was answered.

Prapatti is a synonym for "saranaagati", surrendering

oneself or offering one's self to the Lord. It is the

highest teaching of Sri Vaishnavism, and living the

life of a prapanna is the highest goal of a Sri Vaishnava.

The Alvars, for example, are ideal prapannas.
