Guest guest
The three are bija sakthi and keelakam, this is after the rsi chanda and devata nyasa. then the kara nyasa and sadanga nyasa have to be performed then the dhyana and japa. it is the rule that a parayanam is incomplete without the purva baga and the phala sthuti. as in both the sahasranama and trisati. Rsi is the mantra drasta(seer-one who has seen the mantra) Chanda is the metre in which it is to be chanted\ Devata is the name form of the all mighty Bija is the seed sound in the mantra(as the tree lies in a seed) Sakthi is the potency sound in the mantra( the cause of sprout of the seed) Keelaka is as explanied earlier The kara nyasa protects the hands and sadanga protects the limbs, ie not to waver from our thoughts dhyana is the form of the name already said Hope this fills in some places Lalithayai namah K Ramesh anavadya <prasad <> Wednesday, January 23, 2002 9:54 PM Re: meaning of keelakam >Dear respected devotees of Mother, > >This is not explaination,I add my questions too here in this context. > >I like to have more explaination on Nyasa Part. > >Like, How these three - Hridayam, keelakam, Shaktihi act for >Sahasranama/Trishati. >Why and what type of importance should a reciter/practitioner should >do to these >and to Rishi, Chandas, Devata, and Dhyanam parts. > >Importance of Dhyana Shlokas? > >Is Sahasranama/trishati cannot be complete without reciting >PhalaSruti? > >Om shrImAtrE namaha Om. >Prasada Reddy. > >, "Ramesh" <maakash@m...> wrote: >> Keelakam means the nail which holds the cart and the wheel together. >but in >> this context it should be read as the key to unlock the secret of >the heart >> gate and thus enter into the relams of the godess. the fulcrum point >in this >> stotra is "dadadhi prathigrhnati' ie offer all material wealth to >the devi >> and then act as a caretaker of her wealth.
