Guest guest Posted September 3, 2003 Report Posted September 3, 2003 Hi am looking to start practicing ashtanga and was wonder if anyone had any video recommendations. I practiced bikrim (sp?) - you know the hot kind- yoga for a year or so and then tired random yoga classes here and there. I just started law school and my time is too limited to attend class right now. thanks in advance for you help Quote
Guest guest Posted September 4, 2003 Report Posted September 4, 2003 Hi there! I too am new to Ashtanga and I can definitley recommend David Swensons book 'Ashtanga Yoga' and I have just ordered his DVD too. I have private lessons in Ashtanga at the moment and the book is like having a teacher at your side - more so as he gives alternative postures for those of us who are yet to have hamstrings like elastic- bands! Good Luck! Tony... ashtanga yoga, "fasunderji" <fasunderji@h...> wrote: > Hi am looking to start practicing ashtanga and was wonder if anyone > had any video recommendations.
