website, http://www.ashtanga.co.uk/main.htm (in the

"Articles & Teacher Training" section):

WE RECEIVE

MANY E-MAIL ASKING ABOUT HOW TO BECOME AN ASHTANGA

TEACHER OR DO WE RUN TEACHER TRAINING COURSES

The

answer simply is
there is no official teacher

training other than STUDYING DIRECTLY WITH SHRI K PATTABHI

JOIS
for those that are in the situation where

travelling and studying in India isn't possible to become an

Ashtanga teacher is difficult.
The options are

few
David Swenson runs a few teacher training workshops in

England so e-mail Delora re David's

Workshops.
At present we don't teach students to

teach,
However we do conduct techniques of teaching

workshops
Check our workshop pages for dates.

(I had a

chuckle when reading that it's David Swenson who is

holding those American-style "teacher training workshops"
