(Note: Larry doesn't meet SRI K.Pattabhi Jois, just simply "K.Pattabhi Jois" - like teacher meets teacher.)<br><br>In the article Larry Schultz openly admits that his teaching style deliberately deviates from the tradition. According to him, there are two Astanga Yogas: the Astanga yoga as practised at the Ashtanga Yoga Research Institute in Mysore - and then "the other story: Astanga as Practiced at It's Yoga". Has the penny dropped now? Quote

He is not a sage, only a man who has practiced yoga all his life (and there are many in India who do this) who happened to bring his idea to the West and it caught on!<br>He's the current fad and the name to drop.<br>Gurujii is just a man - like you or me!<br>twochant Quote
