Guest guest Posted January 10, 2001 Report Posted January 10, 2001 David Swenson says he was a Hare Krishna for several years, and is pretty much guaranteed to tell funny stories about it if you ever go to one of his workshops.<br><br>(Oh, and somebody was speculating a little while ago abut whether Takeitup_2000 is David Swenson. Takeitup has several times denied being either of the Swenson brothers. He has also mentioned living in Alaska, which they don't) Quote
Guest guest Posted January 10, 2001 Report Posted January 10, 2001 UncS was never a Krishna, but i've been to quite a few Sunday kirtans and lovefeasts over the last 20 or so years, and so I've dozens of great stories just the same. I don't doubt that Swenson or Freeman, being former insiders, can tell some amazingly hilarious (and sometimes sad) tales of american vaishnava life. Quote
