Guest guest Report post Posted July 5, 1999 I wonder if everyone has seen the article in the current Yoga Journal (July/August 1999)? The title<br>is "New Light on Yoga" by Anne Cushman. The headline (or whatever it would be called) on the cover is "Surprising Evidence About Yoga's Roots".<br>The article is kind of a book review of a book<br>called The Yoga Tradition of the Mysore Palace.<br>It presents an interesting perspective, but seems<br>to come across as a slam against ashtanga yoga<br>(and even BKS Iyengar). It would be interesting<br>to see some dialog on this article. I am hoping<br>there will be some letters to the editor from<br>some authoritative sources. This issue should<br>be on the newstands for another month and a half<br>or so.
