Guest guest Report post Posted June 3, 1999 I absolutely agree with you about what you have chosen as your preferred yoga mat. I nearly fell off my chair though when you gave the approximate price that these things sell for in the US. You said around $75!!!!!!!

For some years now I have been supplying practioners with mats that sound very much like the one you describe for $39.50 Australian which is equal to only about $25 US.

Mostly I supply yoga schools(Including Yoga Moves in Sydney where P Jois taught earlier this year - see photos elsewhere on this web site) who purchase them in rolls of 10 which brings the price down even more.

For $75 US your name or your school logo could be etched in gold at the head of your mat!

I'm sure, that with this price differential, that these high quality mats could be supplied to practioners or schools in the US or elsewhere, even considering the potential transport costs that would be involved, at a much more accessible price.

Yoga need not be only for the financially well off.

If anyone is interested contact me; I'd be happy to help.
