Guest guest Posted December 22, 2005 Report Posted December 22, 2005 Hi all, How do we define the term "Gotra" which is very much used in any puja that we do. Also my next question to all members is how do we define "Kuldevi" which is also very much used most pujas. Dhirendra Balsara Photos Ring in the New Year with Photo Calendars. Guest guest Posted December 23, 2005 Report Posted December 23, 2005 "Gotra" is the lineage of your Guru. "Kuladevi" is the goddess (or god) traditionally worshipped by your family. If you were not born a Hindu, and if you don't have a Guru, chances are you can't give a Gotra or Kuladeva/devi for the Sankalpa of your Puja. -- Len Dhirendra Balsara <ds_balsara wrote: Hi all, How do we define the term "Gotra" which is very much used in any puja that we do.
