She is not fearsome as people try to say

She rules Kaala hence to her people pray

Know my Mother and don't listen to hearsay

Be conscious of time and please don't delay!

The beautiful Gowri consort of Shiva true

Gave up her gentleness to help me and you

Her tongue is red and her complexion blue

She destroys the ego of her devotees true!

Her garland of skulls and sword in her hand

Makes her look fearsome but please understand

She knows we are building just castles in sand

Although we have all come from a faraway land!

She is very loving just dive deep and find out

She will come running if her name you will shout

Ma Ma Ma where are you ? her name please call out

Her love will save one and all please don't doubt!

Offered at the Lotus Feet Of Mother Kali Deepavali, November 6th 2002

In Orissa Mother Kali is worshipped on Deepavali day.

Dusshera is in the month of October so Navaratri is observed with

Clay Images of Durga being worshipped almost in every neighbourhood.

The rituals are followed strictly and the images are immersed in the

river on the 11th day. The excitement is hardly over as everyone gets

to wear new clothes, receive money etc. when on Deepavali Day Mother

Kali is worshipped with lamps being lighted on every rooftop with

fireworks and feasting. The month being known as Kartik, 15 days

later Kartikeya is also worshipped similarly.

As a child growing up in Orissa I never knew about Srividya or Shakti

Sadhana but we all knew MA who kills the demons inside and out.

Looking back there is no doubt that the priests could invoke Shakti

for the Images of Mother reflected that. One had to be there to feel

it. Ramakrishna often sang this song of Ramprasad ? Ke Jane Kali

Kemon - Shada Darshane Na Paye Darashan. Who knows how is Mother Kali

when the 6 philosophies could never adequately describe HER. Devotion

there is which is HER GRACE and due to all of your efforts, Knowledge

about Mother is being gained. Thanks to all of you.

Pranam,

A great question to every one, same like “Ke jane Maa Kali kemon” which is beyond the explanation as explaining the Brahm. Only Shadhak were/are able to know Her (Mother’s) reality.

Various form has been given to Her by the artician at times but the original form is ONE, the ADISHAKTI. SHE is nither Brahma, Vishnu nor Maheshwara or Ishwara (Sadashiva). SHE is Parameshwar (the Adishakti) but not Shakties (energies). The Nature, creation, good/bad, atheism/theism, happiness/sadness, liberation or the differentiation of Guru and disciple, every and every existences of HER or merges in HER.

By MOTHER’s tatvas Loving, Nourishing and lastly Caring makes a Sdhaka to conquire the Kaala (death). The intensive devotion of a Sadhaka where from the Love of Mahakali starts and on the way Nourishes to reach the Adyaita (Non duality) and after that it is SHE (the Mother) automatically care Her child in any conditions.

In Her form HER left lotus feet is Past, right lotus feet Future and at the moment realize the tongue is the the Present and so a Sadhaka comes to Present. The 108 garlands of head skulls are the judgmental of our conception (demons thoughts like anger, desires) perishes one by one. The Sword cut head in HER arm is the full of intellectual Ego and the  drops of blood accumulating in a bowl dry slowly 2 and do not rise again when Sadhaka’s unconditional desire rises only to Parameshwara and do not divert from HER. The red eyes of HER, when a Sadhaka always in meditatively intoxicated.

Wearing the 64 cut hands is the 64 Tantra for transcending to Maha Bhaava which we called Krishna Conciousness like Chaitanya Mahaprabhu and others.

Standing over Shiva shows, SHE is the PARASHAKTI & PURE and anything can be merge into but Purity do not merges.
