different translations of same text

I am currently building up my litte library of important texts.

However, often there are various translations of one text, such as:

 

Siva Samhita:

 

1. by Srisa Chandra Vasu

2. by Rai B. Vasu

 

 

Siva/Shiva Sutra(s):

 

1. by Jaideva Singh

2. by Roger Worthington

3. by Swami Lakshmanjoo

I wonder whether some of you have already one or another of these books and can

hint on which translation of each is best?

by World Wisdom Books. Translated by Swami Sri Ramananda Saraswathi (

Sri Munagala S. Ventataramaiah).

I think you need used the winuzip to open up the file Kanna krishnan.

I managed to download it and is reading them nnow. HEHEHE now it

gives you more reason to come over.

Do you find the translation satisfying?

 

I am not an expert in translation. In this book that I mention, they

have the notes and the commentary and several references. Moreover

this is the first one I have on Tripura Rahasya. So what can i say

but Good. Let me go through the online version.
